Nuela Charles is a cinematic alternative-soul artist known for her soulful vocals,

introspective lyrics, and commanding stage presence. Combining James Bond-inspired

strings with soul-infused rhythms, the Kenyan-born, Canada-based artist creates music

that resonates deeply with audiences worldwide.

In 2024, Nuela’s music reached a global stage with a sync placement during the Paris

Olympics, adding to her 40+ sync credits, including ESPN and “Jane The Virgin.”

Her albums “The Grand Hustle,” “Distant Danger,” and “Melt” earned three JUNO Award

nominations, cementing her as a key figure in Canada’s music scene. She has

performed internationally, including at Germany’s Reeperbahn Festival and London

showcases, and shared stages with legends like Ziggy Marley, Jann Arden and Sam

Roberts Band.

After kicking off 2025 with a string of new singles, Nuela has released her latest EP, "NU2U" 

- her most authentic work, since her debut in 2012.
